ABOUT US
OUR STORY
Brothers Townsville Football Club is celebrating our 57th anniversary this year. The club was originally based at Keyatta Park (site of the Townsville radio stations). The club formed as a junior club in 1967, but wasn’t until 1977 that the first senior teams were formed.
In 1990 the club was moved, as part of the Townsville city Council’s redevelopment plans, to its current location where the club established the clubhouse and grounds. Brothers Townsville FC is currently located at Hi Vista Park in the suburb of Mount Louisa in Townsville, Queensland.
Hi Vista Park has been home to the Brethren for 25 years, and over time the "Fish Bowl" has become a much-loved establishment for the football community. The club is one of the largest in the North Queensland football league, boasting dozens of teams from under 5's to over 60's, including a rapidly expanding women's development program.
Brothers Townsville FC was the first club in regional Queensland to receive the Football Federation Australia's National Cub Accreditation Scheme level one certification.

We're a Good Sports Club
We are proud to announce that Brothers Townsville FC has successfully achieved Gold Medal Accreditation with Good Sports. As a family orientated club we want to create a healthy, thriving and inclusive club culture which sets us up for long term success.
Throughout our accreditation journey we have created a number of key policies that guarantee that we are focused on compliance with our state’s liquor licence laws, meeting all our legal requirements and taking responsibility for our members.
With the assistance of Good Sports we now have the following Policies in place Smoking Management Policy, Responding to illegal drugs Policy, Alcohol Management and illegal drugs Policy and Safe Transport Policy.

We understand the important role we play in the community and are committed to role-modelling positive behaviours. We know that children don’t just learn how to kick goals at Brothers TSV FC, they pick up habits for life – we want to ensure our families feel confident they are well looked after and supported in a healthy environment.

Please take the time to read our Policies and we look forward to encouraging healthy attitudes towards drinking and eating for all our club members of all ages.
